All That Glitters

Finally, here is what I wore for Christmas Eve. I went with a red and gold theme this year for Christmas outfits. I love that color combination, especially for the holidays. This gold dress was actually my New Year's Eve dress last year, so I decided to recycle and remix it for Christmas Eve this year. It's definitely not the warmest outfit, but it's fine for an evening inside with the warmth of good food cooking in the kitchen.

It's been so incredibly cold lately, and I'm not sure how much I can take! I can't wait for the spring to come and it's a bummer that it's a whole 2-3 months away. I love the transition from winter to spring when the cold finally subsides. Those first days when you know a heavy coat isn't needed anymore always make me so giddy!

I'll be going to Florida soon, and I can't wait to get away from the cold! It's always a nice break from the winter, and the perfect time to be down there. I'm already thinking about outfits to pack for the trip. It's kind of hard to try to put together summery outfits when the temperatures are in the teens. I'd like to get a new bathing suit, but they tend to be a little expensive. I really want a retro high-waisted bikini, and I'm really loving this one from ModCloth. I also still have gift cards for the mall and Forever 21, so I'm probably going to be doing a little shopping once the spring stuff starts to hit stores.

Not much is going on at the moment. I'm getting ready to start the spring semester, and I'm also getting excited for my four year blogiversary that will be coming up! I can't believe it's been so long. I look so little when I look back at my old pictures...haha. I'm really excited for this year on the blog, and I'm planning on making it a great one!

  7. Glitter! Red! Sara this dress is perfect for Christmas Eve! Especially with that red cardi. Sequins and glitter are genuinely two of my favorite things so I love this. Florida sounds like so much fun! I've been wanting to go on a trip forever and I might go to LA for 3 days to visit a friend who is studying abroad in LA for spring break. Yay for warmer weather!
